The 9-hole "Lafayette" course at the Lafayette Country Club facility in Lafayette, Indiana features 2,952 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35 . The course rating is 34.8 and it has a slope rating of 119 on Bent grass. Designed by Bobby Simmons, the Lafayette golf course opened in 1973. Paul Page manages the course as the General Manager.
The Lafayette Course is an old course with tree-lined fairways. The greens are small, elevated and well bunkered. The course is hilly with ditches that come into play on three holes, and there is a creek that comes into play on two other holes. William Diddel redesigned the Lafayette Course in 1924.
